Name of program: Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Duration: 2009-2011 Activities: IPC outreach; Referrals for health services; Support for peer educators; Safe space for youth; Focus group research with Mayan youth; Meetings with parents; Radio program; Website promotion Main objectives: The long-term goal of the project is to improve adolescent reproductive health. The short term objectives are to increase condom and contraceptive use and to delay sexual debut among adolescents in Chetumal.The goal of this study is to measure the project's impact on condom and contraceptives use and delay of sexual debut and on some behavior determinants as well. This information will be used to adjust the interventions and communications for the Mexico ARH program.
