This has resulted in the selection and proliferation ofantibiotic-resistant bacteria owing to increased exposure to antibiotics from waste.This can pose a significantchallenge to public health and can be detrimental to the balance of microbial communities in natural water bodies.The current study was conducted to assess the presence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in the River Yamuna Water
