KISTI-CWTS Leiden Ranking Open Edition 2025 indicators for South Korean organizations

This dataset was developed through a collaborative research project between the Center for Global R&D Analysis at KISTI and the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University. Based on scholarly publication data, it provides science and technology analytics that enable users to explore the research performance of major countries worldwide and Korean institutions through a variety of indicators. This file is commissioned by KISTI and contains bibliometric indicators for South Korean organizations(institutions) according to the methodology developed for CWTS Leiden Ranking Open Edition 2025. The 'Explanation' worksheet briefly explains how to use this file. The 'Results' worksheet presents bibliometric indicators for South Korean organisations. The 'Korean Organization Info' worksheet provides Korean-language names for the organisations, linked to the 'Results' worksheet via ROR ID (column B). The 'Results' worksheet presents results for each combination of a university (column A), a field (column D), a time period (column E), a publication set (column F), and a counting method (column G). Field normalized citation impact indicators are available only for the set of core publications. Non-normalized citation impact indicators are available only for the set of core and non-core publications. Collaboration and open access indicators are only calculated using full counting. Stability intervals have been calculated for most size-independent indicators. On the 'Results' worksheet, the lower and upper bounds of a stability interval are presented in columns with labels ending with '_lb' and '_ub', respectively.
