Mattatall and Angevine Lake Sediment Data

Sediment was obtained at Mattatall Lake and Angevine Lake in northern Nova Scotia. Data was collected for the purpose of exploring the causes of harmful algae blooms in Mattatall Lake. Sediment data were obtained from sediment cores taken at the deep zone of both lakes and sectioned at 0.5 cm intervals. Analyses of sediment included X-ray fluorescence, chlorophyll-a and Pb-210.本次研究的沉积物样本采集自加拿大新斯科舍省北部的马塔塔尔湖（Mattatall Lake）与安杰文湖（Angevine Lake）。数据采集工作旨在探究马塔塔尔湖有害藻华的成因。沉积物数据取自两座湖泊深水区采集的沉积物岩心，并以0.5厘米为间隔进行切片分样。沉积物分析项目包含X射线荧光光谱（X-ray fluorescence）、叶绿素a（chlorophyll-a）以及铅-210（Pb-210）检测。
