GloFAS: probabilistic precipitation forecast

This data set shows for the whole globe the probability [%] of accumulated precipitation exceeding 50, 150 and 300 mm over the entire forecast range of 10 days. This is based on the probabilistic precipitation forecast of the ECMWF (ECMWF-ENS).

The update frequency of this data set is daily; and the spatial coverage is global; while the horizontal resolution is 0.1 degree.

This information is produced by the operational suit of GloFAS (www.globalfloods.eu) in order to provide the user with an global overview on the probability of precipitation exceeding a medium (50 mm), large (150 mm) and extreme (300 mm) amount of precipitation over the forecast range of 10 days.
