whole-genome sequencing and genomic analysis of Norduz goat

Norduz goat is a special goat breed of Turkey and it is reared in the Norduz area which is part of Gurpinar district in Van province. Norduz goats are favorable in the region due to desired yield characteristics. In the study, whole-genome sequence of Norduz goat was obtained by using the next-generation sequencing technology. Next-generation sequencing was carried out using the Illumina HiSeq X platform with 150 bp pair-end reads.
