This dataset includes both raw and processed microscopy data from "A single bead improves fission yeast liquid culture growth" (DOI: 10.57844/arcadia-mu7g-v6rz). Plotting and statistical analysis scripts used to generate figures for "A single bead improves fission yeast liquid culture growth" can be found on this Github repository (https://zenodo.org/records/20129029). It also includes raw absorbance (ABS) and processed optical density (OD) data from an iD5 plate reader. DIC 40x objective microscopy data collected on HINA microscope of S.pombe cells. 9 images were taken from each well on a 96-well glass bottom plate. .nds files were segmented and analyzed with Cellpose. Plotting scripts can be found in https://github.com/romanramosbaez/Bead-Cultures unprocessed data contains .nd2 files processed data contains .jpg files, .csv files, and .tiff files.
