GainLoss tasks data from the DARet1 Study. This study aimed to investigate what roles dopamine plays in the retrieval of different types of memory. Healthy older participants learned several memory tasks on one day, and then came back in the next day to be tested on them. On day 2 they received either a placebo or a drug (Levodopa, a dopamine precursor) and were tested 1 hour later. Participants completed both conditions (drug and placebo) in a randomised order, fully double-blinded.
