Abisko Treeline Transplant

This is a study of decomposition dynamics of five organic substrates incubated over three years in plots with or without access by tree roots and situated across a subarctic treeline forest line in northern Sweden. Fungal communities were studied in parallel with substrate mass loss, C and N dynamics and respiration activities of the substrates.
