Comparison of AVA and Lutz towers, Barro Colorado Island, Panama

The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute's Physical Monitoring Program operates two meteorological towers on Barro Colorado Island, known as the AVA and Lutz towers. Damage to the Lutz tower in 2018 eventually led to the lose of electronic measurements on the tower in 2024. The attached file provides a comparison of daily averages for several key variables from both towers between 2021 and 2024. Graphs show the relationships between the two locations.
