Gourd Maori Nguru (nose flute)

This Maori Nguru (nose flute) is made from the neck of a gourd. Open at each end with three finger holes bordered with haliotis shell rings. It is played using one nostril and known for its haunting sound. This Nguru is a very early example of its type.
