Minangkabau Women Shopping Behavior Dataset

I have used this data to analyze the bargaining behavior intention of Minangkabau women consumers in West Sumatra, Indonesia. My findings indicate that emotional factors, specifically anticipated positive emotions, positively influence behavioral intention, mediated by satisfaction, while anticipated negative emotions do not have a positive effect. Furthermore, perceived behavioral control, mediated by desire, positively affects behavioral intention, whereas attitude and subjective norms do not. However, both mediating variables (satisfaction and desire) mediate the relationship between independent and dependent variables.

These findings demonstrate that the bargaining behavior intention of Minangkabau women is not solely influenced by emotional and psychological factors but is also significantly affected by other dominant economic factors, such as price and product quality. Future researchers can incorporate additional independent variables to explore their influence on behavioral intention, particularly in developing countries where bargaining remains a common practice in shopping transactions.
