Butterfly net displacement data and analysis code for three threatened species on Gotland

This dataset contains processed mark-recapture data and analysis code for studying movement patterns of three threatened butterfly species on Gotland, Sweden, from 2017 to 2024. The dataset includes net displacement measurements (straight-line distance between first and last capture) for 9,670 individual butterflies: Euphydryas aurinia (n=7,338), Parnassius apollo (n=2,041), and Phengaris arion (n=291).
