Mexico: rice import volume by country 2016

Mexican imports of rice from the United States amounted to 825,400 metric tons in 2016. Uruguay was the second main country of origin of rice imported in Mexico, totaling 74,000 tons. Most of the rice produced in Mexico is used for domestic consumption.
