Chemical-physical parameters, major, minor, trace elements and stable isotopic composition of groundwater belonging to the hydrogeological basin of Trabia-Termini Imerese Mounts, Sicily (ltaly).

This dataset concerns the hydrogeological basin of Trabia-Termini Imerese Mounts that is located in the northwest area of Sicily, in a sector of the province of Palermo.
Geochemical methods have been an useful tools for understanding processes altering the quality of groundwaters during their flow, such as the interactions between host rocks and groundwater and pollution coming from human activities. Records include: chemical-physical parameteres, major elements, minor elements, trace elements and stable isotopic composition of water collected from 10 wells during 2004-2005. This study is part of the Water Protection Plan of the Sicilian Regional Government.

本数据集聚焦于位于西西里岛西北部、帕勒莫省某一区域的特拉比亚-特米尼-伊梅雷塞山脉的地下水文盆地。地化方法已成为理解改变地下水质量过程中诸多现象的有力工具，例如宿主岩石与地下水之间的相互作用以及源自人类活动的污染。数据记录包括：化学物理参数、主要元素、微量元素、痕量元素及采集于2004-2005年间10个井点的稳定同位素组成。本研究是西西里岛区域政府水资源保护计划的一部分。
