Alternaria alternata strain:EOD115 Genome sequencing

Apples and their dirved products are always contaminated by Alternaria toxins. Alternaria strain EOD115 is collected from rotten apple and identified as A. alternaira. Compared to other strains, EOD115 can simultaneously produce relatively high levels of ATX-I, TEN, and TeA. Hence, the stain EOD115 was selected to be sequenced and used as a reference genome to illustrate the mechanism of toxin production.
