Transcriptional profiling of the Arabidopsis C24 ecotype and the toc1-2 mutant in the C24 genetic background was performed. Detached leaves from both genotypes were inoculated at dawn (ZT0) with Botrytis cinerea spores or with half-strength grape juice control. Leaves were harvested at either ZT18 or ZT22 and total RNA extracted. RNA-Seq libraries were prepared using a TruSeq Stranded mRNA Library Prep kit (Illumina) and 150-bp paired-end reads were generated on the Illumina Novaseq 6000 sequencing platform at Sequentia Biotech (Barcelona, Spain).
