UKCP18 Regional wind & precipitation events for 1981-1999 and 2061-2079

Data: From the UKCP18 climate model, 3,427 footprints of potentially impactful wind events for mainland Great Britain (GB) using 10 m wind gust data and an equivalent set of 14,502 precipitation events. These were extracted for extended winters (i.e. Oct-Mar inclusive) within two periods: 1st Jan 1980 to end Dec 2000 and 1st Jan 2061 to end Dec 2080. These mirror high river flow, potential flood, events of (Griffin et al., 2022b, a), Thus, an equivalent methodology is used. 9448 of the 14440 high-flow events (Griffin et al., 2022b, a) are within the more restricted time frame (i.e. 20 years, winter only) used here.
