Basic skin therapy effects on grass pollen challenged patients with atopic dermatitis. Emollients and Aeroallergens in atopic dermatitis

Patients suffering from atopic dermatitis and respective IgE-sensitization were challenged on two consecutive days with Dactylis glomerata pollen in an environmental challenge chamber. Patients were randomized in two groups, of which one received basic skin therapy (emollients) and one not. Skin swabs were taken before and one day after allergen challenge.
