Fractional-order infiltration model validation dataset (screened from the SWIG database).

Data Source and Processing The soil water infiltration data used in this study were derived from the Soil Water Infiltration Global (SWIG) database (Rahmati et al., 2018). The original database is publicly available at: https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.885492. This dataset includes 605 processed infiltration time series (infiltration rate vs. time) for nine soil texture classes, extracted and calculated from the SWIG database. The identifiers correspond to those in the source SWIG records. Data Content This dataset contains processed infiltration time series for each soil class. For each class, two comma-separated values (.csv) files are provided: Stable1.csv: Contains the infiltration rate (cm/h) data. time.csv: Contains the corresponding elapsed time (h) data.
