Fecal microbiota transplantation with antibiotic-treated mouse was performed to determine the relationship between gut dysbiosis and preeclampsia. The gut microbial profiles of recipient mice were analyzed by 16S RNA sequencing at 6 weeks post-transplantation. Our results suggest that the fecal microbiota composition of human donors was successfully reproduced in female mice. Inoculation of the gut microbiome from patients with preeclampsia triggered preeclamptic phenotypes.
