Digital Survey, 2014 is a national quantitative survey on the use of digital tools in Norwegian higher education. The survey was conducted by the University of Norway on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Research. The survey had three respondent groups; students, subject staff / teachers and managers at department / department level.
The survey has mapped students 'and academic staff's use of digital tools in teaching and learning, the educational institutions' work with facilitating use, as well as organizational and individual conditions that affect their use.
The data material contains closed questions about the use and facilitation of the use of digital tools in learning and teaching, but also open / free text questions and answers at the individual level. The background variables are coded in groups. This applies to both age, number of years studied or worked, as well as number of years in the position.
