资源简介:
The poster for the NHERI Summit explains the NHERI@UTexas facility and highlights six example projects. The three main research areas of NHERI@UTexas are (1) Developing comprehensive 2D/3D subsurface geotechnical imaging for deeper, more accurate, and higher-resolution analyses, (2) Characterizing the nonlinear dynamic response and liquefaction resistance of complex geomaterials in situ, and (3) Creating rapid, in-situ methods for structural health monitoring and soil-foundation-structure interaction (SFSI) studies. The six example projects are related to these three main research areas and primarily utilize the unique tri-axial vibroseis known as T-Rex, which can generate ground motion in three different directions at the push of a button. Additionally, the vibroseis called Liquidator and Rattler are also used for projects. The recorded and analyzed data will be published on DesignSafe for reuse.
