资源简介:
In this study, we selected 12 accessions representing maize domestication and subsequent improvement process. Four teosinte (Zea mays ssp. parviglumis) accessions, B72 (CIMMYTMA 8784), K71 (CIMMYTMA 8775), K67 (CIMMYTMA 8755) and W71 (CIMMYTMA 8781), were from Mexico. Four landraces accessions, SINA2(CIMMYTA 861), NAYA39 (CIMMYTA 1671), GUAT234 (CIMMYTMA 1672) and GUAN102 (CIMMYTMA 1526) were derived from its progenitor (Zea mays ssp. parviglumis). Four modern cultivated inbred lines were B73 (temperate), Mo17 (temperate), Zheng58 (Z58, temperate) and Chang7-2 (C72, temperate). All these materials were grown in Zengcheng Campus Teaching & Research Base of South China Agricultural University . Three ears in each block were self-pollinated, and kernels from these three ears were collected at 15 DAPs (Day after pollination). The collected kernels in three replications were used for metabolic profiling and RNA sequencing.
