Drosophila suzukii Raw sequence reads. Drosophila suzukii

We constructed two RNA libraries from female and male adults of Drosophila suzukii for deep sequencing. Using an Illumina Genome Analyzer IIx platform, we mapped more than 57, 59, 56 million sequence reads from female adults and 54, 62 and 58 million sequence reads from male adults, and identified a total of 16,335 protein coding genes. The female and male adults libraries were evaluated in comparison, and 11,360 differential expression genes (DEGs) genes were identified. 6,319 DEGs exhibited relatively higher expression levels in male than female, and 5,041 DEGs showed relatively higher expression levels in female than male.
