资源简介:
Chlorarachniophytes are complex plastids originating in a chlorophyte. The plastids have a nucleomorph, which is a relic nuclei of the chlorophyte endosymbiont, in the periplastidal compartment. Therefore, this group is used for a model system to elucidate the evolutionary process of secondary endosymbiosis. Amorphochlora amoebiformis is an amoeboid chlorarachniophyte that mostly lacks a flagellate stage. A transient transformation system has been developed using this species. Using this system, we can track subcellular protein localization in a chlorarachniophyte cell. However, the genome information of A. amoebiformis was limited. This project aims to sequence the nuclear genome of A. amoebiformis to develop a more sophisticated transformation system.
