Expression data from control and Angpt2 silenced mouse melanoma cells

The functional role of tumor cell-expressed Angpt2 still remains elusive. Here, we used mouse melanoma cells which have endgeneous Angpt2 expression and invesitgated the functional role of tumor cell-derived Angpt2. Total RNA from control and Angpt2 silenced mouse melanoma cells (RET) was isolated and was further utilized for microarray analysis using Affymetrix Mouse Gene 2.0 ST array. mRNA profiles of control (transduced with non-targeting shRNA) or Angpt2 silenced (transduced with Angpt2 shRNA) RET mouse melanoma cell line cultured for 24h in standard cell culture condition. RNA was isolated with GenElute Mammalian Total RNA Purification Kit (Sigma). cDNA libraries were prepared and analyzed by the DKFZ Genomics core facility, according to the standard operating protocols. Three independent biological repeats were performed for all sample groups.
