Raw Lidar Data for Aerosol Effective Radius Retrieval during Saharan Dust Events over the Bavarian Alps
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the raw multiwavelength lidar signals used to generate the effective radius profiles presented in Figure 8 of the manuscript: Range-resolved retrieval of aerosol particle size distribution during Saharan dust intrusions over the Bavarian Alps using multiwavelength lidar observations. The dataset consists of four ASCII text files containing the averaged lidar signals selected for aerosol particle size distribution (APSD) retrieval during Saharan dust events observed over Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, in 2024. The files correspond to the following measurement periods: 2024-02-29, 14:00–14:30 UTC2024-02-29, 16:00–16:30 UTC2024-03-29, 16:40–17:10 UTC2024-04-29, 13:07–13:27 UTC Each text file contains the raw lidar signals used as input to the APSD inversion software for retrieving altitude-resolved aerosol effective radius profiles. These datasets allow reproduction of the retrieval results shown in Figure 8 of the associated publication. Details of the lidar system, preprocessing procedure, and inversion methodology are described in the manuscript.
