The database includes approximately 520 academic studies and official reports of impacts of new public management (NPM) reforms across Western, Central and Eastern Europe. The database has been compiled during 2011 as part of the EU-funded project Coordinating for Cohesion in the Public Sector of the Future (COCOPS) by a team of researchers at 11 universities in 10 different European countries.
On the basis of the database, Christopher Pollitt and Sorin Dan have produced a meta-analysis of impacts of NPM reforms in Europe. https://lirias.kuleuven.be/retrieve/716d3783-797a-4c8b-9caa-ea4816f4d686
The database can be filtered according to one or more of the following criteria: type of document, sector, country, new public management (NPM) tool and mechanism and year of publication. Additionally, it can be searched using one or more keywords typed in the field ‘bibliographic information.'
