VPRS 11196 General Correspondence Subject Files

This series comprises correspondence files maintained by the Council. The files contain inward and copies of outward correspondence relating to all functions undertaken by the Council.The Council appears to have introduced this series to replace a chronologically arranged filing system (refer to VPRS 12981). It appears, however, that this series was progressively introduced as the two series overlap for the period 1962 - 1964.
