Supplementary emissivity plots

This repository contains the emissivity calculations employed in our study of optical and near-infrared FeII emission in the IZw1 galaxy. The files include emissivity profiles as a function of cloud depth for several important emission features used as diagnostics of the physical conditions of the broad-line region (BLR). The repository includes the emissivity distributions for: the four Fe,II emission lines around 1micron; the FeII ~9200 Å bump; the optical FeII multiplets around λ4570; Hβ ((λ4861); Paβ (λ12818); OI λ8446; and the CaII infrared triplet λ8662. Different colors in the plots correspond to different local hydrogen densities (nH). All models were computed assuming metallicities of 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 5 solar. The vertical lines shown in the figures indicate the location of the maximum value of emissivity multiplied by depth for the corresponding emission line, providing an estimate of the region where the line emission becomes most efficient within the cloud structure. These calculations were performed within the cloudy photoionization code and are intended to support the interpretation of FeII excitation and the physical conditions of the FeII-emitting gas in the IZw1.
