This is an endline survey to monitor the program indicators and evaluate impact of the FORTIDOM pilot project implemented in 2 Districts during 18 months. This pilot project is implemented to improve nutritional status of children 6-23 months age. Indicators to be measured were focused essentially on: - exclusive and continued breastfeeding and complementary feeding practices for children 6-23 months, including a hemoglobin measure for anemia evaluation. - perceived opportunities, ability and motivation of caregivers to improve the nutritional status of their children through exclusive breastfeeding and continued breastfeeding until at least two years of age; healthy feeding practices; and improved diversification of food This study requires 860 infant 6-23 months age. To obtain this sample required sample size, the study screen about 4085 households. The study population for this household survey is mainly the caregive rs of children between 6 and 23 months where Fortidom project was implemented. The head of household is also interviewed in order to provide information on household members and household characteristics. Additionally, the study is targeting children between 6 and 23 months who are eligible for anemia testing.
