Dataset of "Moisture Sources of Precipitation using Convection-Permitting Simulations: A study over South America"

This repository contains the 2L-DRM output files (NetCDF format) associated with the article “Moisture Sources of Precipitation Using Convection-Permitting Simulations: A Study Over South America.”The outputs are provided at daily and 24-km resolution and each zip file contains the files of one year. Files beginning with trpr contain the tracked precipitation, while those starting with pr contain the total precipitation. The variable ρ (moisture contribution to precipitation) can be computed as the ratio trpr / pr. The trpr files include, in addition to the west_east and south_north dimensions, a region dimension that represents the 19 source regions analyzed in the paper.This dataset enables further and more detailed analyses for other target regions beyond those defined in the publication.
