USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR AUTOMATION OF DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENT PLANNING IN PROSTHODONTICS

The rapid development of digital technologies has opened new horizons in prosthodontics. In particular, artificial intelligence (AI) shows promise for automating diagnostic procedures, optimizing prosthetic design and treatment planning, and improving treatment predictability. This paper reviews current applications of AI in prosthodontics, analyzes their effectiveness, discusses main limitations and ethical concerns, and proposes directions for future research. We hypothesize that AI-assisted workflows can significantly enhance diagnostic accuracy, reduce time and human error, and enable personalized prosthetic treatment planning.
