资源简介:
This dataset supports the thesis, entitled “Theoretical Models links Environment-Lifestyle-Health-Suicide: Using a natural experiment to assess impacts of urban environments on public housing residents’ health states, healthy lifestyle, and suicide-related factors”.This comprehensive dataset encompasses individual-level factors collected via a large-scale online survey of 3,227 public housing residents in Hong Kong. The primary scope of this research is to investigate the complex network relationships between perceived built environment attributes (e.g., walkability, greenery, facilities), healthy lifestyle factors (e.g., physical activity, diet, sedentary behavior), three core health states (mental, physical, social), and crucial suicide-related factors derived from the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide (IPTS). The file merged_data_20250925 contains the synthesized and cleaned variables across these domains, while the accompanying scripts (GRF_project_2025_script_net_mgm_...) facilitate the network analysis using Mixed Graphical Models (mgm) to verify the hierarchical theoretical models. This study was funded by the GRF, and all data provided have been fully de-identified to protect participant privacy.<br><br>
