Understanding the model representation of clouds based on visible and infrared satellite observations - a data set

We created this data set to make the results in "Understanding the model representation of clouds based on visible and infrared satellite observations" submitted to Copernicus ACP reproducible. It contains 2D observation and synthetic SEVIRI satellite images of the exploited channels, together with SYNOP observations and model equivalents. MSG SEVIRI observations are freely available at the EUMETSAT data centre website https://www.eumetsat.int/eumetsat-data-centre.
