Latent class analysis of depression among patients with non-small cell lung cancer after surgery: A cross-sectional study

This dataset is derived from the study titled "Latent class analysis of depression among patients with non - small cell lung cancer after surgery: A cross - sectional study". This study aimed to identify classes of depression using latent class analysis (LCA) in patients with NSCLC after surgery and to explore the association between these classes and demographic and clinical characteristics, physical symptoms, distress disclosure, and relationship quality.Data were collected from March 17, 2024 to May 16, 2024, covering 234 patients after non - small cell lung cancer surgery. The dataset includes patients' demographic information (such as age, gender, educational attainment, occupation, etc.), clinical characteristics (number of comorbidities), symptoms (pain, sleep, and fatigue status), as well as scores from the Patient Health Questionnaire - Depression scale, distress disclosure, and relationship quality.Through latent class analysis of these data, subgroups of patients with different depressive characteristics can be identified, providing data support for the clinical accurate identification of patients at high risk of depression and the formulation of personalized psychological intervention measures, thereby helping to improve the mental health level of patients after non - small cell lung cancer surgery.
