Surficial Geology Lines

The purpose of this line data was to document the boundaries of the three-dimensional map-unit areas where the geology changes. The intent of the lines is to show where the materials associated with the shallow subsurface geology changes laterally across the mapped area. Lines define areas where the shallow subsurface geology as stated in the attributes assigned to the area, also known as stacks, adequately describe the geology underneath the area bounded by the lines down to and including the uppermost bedrock unit.
