Coxiella burnetii is the causative agent of the zoonotic disease Q-fever, which is endemic in most parts of the world. Four draft genome sequences of C. burnetii isolated in the United Kingdom are presented, which all have been isolated from cases of abortions in cattle and goats. These sequences add to the collection of whole genome sequences from the UK and their availability will increase our understanding of global genetic diversity of this pathogen
