USPCASE(b)-118: Combinations of Extreme Scenarios of Solar, Wind, and Hydro Variations in Peak Load Month for a Modified NREL 118 Bus Test System

This USPCASE(b)-118 dataset is a modified version of renewable integrated IEEE-118 bus system by NREL. It involves a total of eight scenarios covering extreme high and low generation combinations of hydro, wind, and solar in peak load month under high load operating conditions. Additionally piecewise linear generator cost functions are converted into equivalent quadratic cost coefficients during the transition from CPLEX to the MATPOWER format.
