资源简介:
I sampled the small mammal community in ponderosa pine forest in the Coconino National Forest outside of Flagstaff, Arizona, from 2006-2009, using live traps. The objective was to compare various ages of restoration treatments (ages of thinning), including unrestored (dense) forests and those that resembled reference conditions. I used an occupancy modeling framework to sample ~100 sites over the four years. My data include species counts per visit (multiple visits per year of the study), site attributes (to describe treatments), and site vegetation characteristics, including slash piles. Both occupancy and density can be estimated for 8 species from this dataset. I also collected fecal samples and ran on isotope analysis on a small subset of animals. The vegetation characteristics are described at a site level, but the plot-level field data
