Impact of earthquake on road functionality in terms of vehicular and pedestrian traffic

This dataset contains the spatial distribution of road interruption probabilities in RV2 at the census-section level, as presented in the associated study. Contents road_interruption.shp (and related files): polygon layer of census sections P_IV.lyrx: symbology for the probability of vehicular road interruption P_IP.lyrx: symbology for the probability of pedestrian road interruption Attributes P_INT_VEIC: probability of road interruption for vehicular traffic (P(IV)) P_INT_PED: probability of road interruption for pedestrian traffic (P(IP)) The dataset represents the results of a simulation-based assessment of road interruption due to debris generated by seismic damage to buildings. Probabilities are evaluated at the census-section level within a virtual testbed representative of typical Italian urban contexts, Inland Returnville (RV2). For visualization consistent with the figures presented in the paper, the provided .lyrx files should be applied to the shapefile. Notes A value equal to 0 is assumed for the dispersed area. The dataset is intended for visualization and reproducibility of the published results.
