Next Generation Amplicon Sequencing of Blastocystis from White-tailed Deer in Maryland, USA

Next generation sequencing (NGS) of 71 samples of fecal DNA from white-tailed deer to detect and characterize Blastocystis subtypes. Blastocystis-specific primers were used to amplify the SSU rRNA gene.
