The 10m Suaeda species distribution dataset in coastal China from 2016 to 2024

This dataset represents the distribution of coastal Suaeda vegetation in China from 2016 to 2024, with a spatial resolution of 10 m. It was developed on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform using the Random Forest classification method. Original spectral bands, band ratios, and commonly used spectral indices were employed as classification features for Suaeda extraction. A negative sample iterative approach was introduced during classification to improve accuracy and discrimination. The dataset provides annual spatial distribution maps of coastal Suaeda vegetation across China for the period 2016–2024. All files are in TIFF format, with each file corresponding to the Suaeda distribution for a specific year, enabling multi-temporal change analysis and ecological restoration assessment. This dataset not only offers valuable information for understanding the spatiotemporal distribution patterns of coastal Suaeda vegetation in China but also provides regional, precise, and scientific support for coastal wetland conservation, degradation monitoring, and government decision-making.
