Biographies of renowned Persian poets and poetesses, by Shîrkhân ibn ‘Alî Amjadkhân Lûdî, who completed this work in A.H. 1102 (A.D. 1690, 1691), comp. The first of the ancient poets is Rûdagî, on fol. 10b; the first of the modern poets Jâmî, on fol. 48a; the tadhkirah of the poetesses begins on fol. 217a. Dated the 1st of Ṣafar, A.H. 1147 (the sixteenth year of Muḥammadshâh’s reign) = A.D. 1734, July 3. An index of the whole work is found on the fly-leaves.
