NRS-10555 | Registers of surveyed tenements [West Wyalong Warden's Office]

Volume 7/7954 includes mining tenements applied for at the Warden's Office, Barmedman, and the Warden's Office, Wyalong, which appear to have been subsequently registered in the Warden's Office, West Wyalong, and the Warden's Office, Wyalong. Volume 7/7956A contains all applications for mining tenements (eg., residence areas, business areas, quartz claims, etc.) which were made at West Wyalong for July 1907 to March 1911. A note at the end of the entries in this volume states that "Not required - applications for tenements should be entered in Tenement Register as received. If not proceeded with suitable note to be made in 'Memoranda' column". Some of these entries duplicate those in volume 7/7956 while the remainder, which were not proceeded with, only appear in volume 7/7956A.
