Analysis of the transcriptional effect of hypoxia on flg22 response

We tested whether hypoxia affects plant transcriptional responses to flg22 and reveal that hypoxia represses flg22 responses and more broadly also pattern triggered immunity (PTI) in plants. Overall design: To investigate the transcriptional differences upon combined hypoxia/flg22 treatment, compared to mock control, hypoxia alone or flg22 alone treatments.
