As many of us know, if the data collected are rubbish then no analysis, however complex it may be, can make something out of it. Experimental design gives us an opportunity to think of how to get the most of the experiment by taking into its context. In this session, I delve into practices to capture this experimental context using the edibble R-package and demonstrate how to construct experimental designs for a range of agricultural studies.© Emi Tanaka, 2021
