The goal of this project is to characterize the importance of Rv0805 cyclic AMP phosphodiesterase activity and the broader roles of cyclic AMP signaling in the biology of TB complex mycobacteria. This submission includes sequence information from M. tuberculosis and M. bovis BCG mutants with Rv0805 deletions along with suppressor mutants that restored their growth on media containing a combination of propionate with glycerol as the primary carbon source.
