Consumers buying meals online in the Netherlands 2020-2024, by gender

In 2024, Dutch men ordered more meals over the internet than Dutch women. That year, around 42 percent of male respondents purchased meals online versus roughly 39 percent of women. Meal ordering decreased for both women compared to the year before. Demand for meals purchased online dropped after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
